Does anyone know the origin of the family name ARIKIAN, or where it comes from, any ideas would be helpful

I am from Turkey.

Arıkıan means that its a small water channell to water field or garden.

That's very interesting ANTEP. I wonder why a family would choose a surname like that though. What does it represent or stand for?
